Why We Collect Information

the information collected relates to investigations we conduct or requests for
information we receive. We may also collect
information for administrative purposes, for example, to send publications to

What personal information do we collect?

activities. Whenever possible, this information will be collected directly from

which is necessary for the specific purposes. We only collect what we have
need.
For example, we may request your name and contact details as part of a
delivery request. We may also collect your IP address if you visit our site.

unless subsection 8(2) of the Privacy Act does
authorizes it. In the case of an authorized communication, we will try not to communicate
only such specific information as is necessary in the circumstances and, to the extent
possible, we will notify the person of the communication.
Access to personal information at Harrington Pétillants Botaniques will be limited
employees who need the information to perform their jobs. These employees
treat the information as strictly confidential and will only provide access to such
information to any unauthorized person. The level of access to information
will be granted to employees on a need-to-know basis.

Whenever possible, we try to obtain the consent of the person before

implied and may be provided directly by the individual or their authorized representative.
We prefer to obtain express consent, whether verbally, through
electronically or in writing. Implied consent can reasonably be inferred from

to receive a post or a name and phone number to get a response
